Updates at Dutchies View B&B
We are always trying to make improvements here at Dutchies View. When the money allows it we add a few things that we think are needed or take away things we don't like. This time we removed the two huge forsythia bushes growing alongside the driveway, whew!! want a project. The limbs were so knotted and a large rose bush had decided it would take up residence. You would have thought I had been lost in the jungle for two weeks by the looks of all the scratchs and cuts. We got those out and replaced them with Crepe Myrtles that will hopefully one day be a beautiful addition.
We also cleaned up at the top of the driveway where we put our fall season decorations. The area had become a little overgrown and we thought it needed a little pizazz. Well we dug up the area place two soon to be beautiful Knockout rose bushes to either side, erected a split rail fence section and leaned our 1800 wooden wagon wheel against it. We think it looks great when getting to the top of the drive. The picture doesn't quite do it justice, but it is very nice.
Our next big project is making the round driveway so that getting in and leaving is a lot less hassle, but that will be for another time.
Come see our new improvements.
