Virginia Winter Storm
Its time to hunker down and make a big pot of stew, break out the sleds and have some fun. The first winter storm is heading right for us and before it gets done it looks like we could have up to 12 inches or more of the fluffy white stuff. If that much does really fall, it will be the earliest and largest amount of snow to fall here in Woolwine in over 15 years I am told. We'll just wait and see. The hills around our place make for some real fun sledding and Dutchie loves chasing us on the sleds. Daisy on the other hand prefers to stay inside under a warm blanket. I'll have to dig out a place in the snow for her just to go potty. Now that's spoiled. Hope that everyone comes out OK in this storm and stays off the roads so that the people that need to clear them can get their jobs done efficiently. Even though the weather may be frightful, lets enjoy what mother nature brings us.
