Dutchies View Blue Ridge Mountains Bed and Breakfast is pround to say that our first brood of Blue Birds have hatched and will soon leave the box to start their own families. We have been blessed to have professional Blue Bird boxes installed by an official Blue Bird Monitor and we have been very successful with our boxes. We have had several successful nestings in the past and are still always happy when we have yet more. Hopefully this year we will not have the problems of last year. Dutchies View seems to be located in a wonderful spot that Blue Birds really like and we really like having them around as well. There has also been sitings of Yellow and Red bellied Sapsuckers as well as Pilated woodpeckers. We have warberlers and gold finch as well as we will soon be inundated with thew tenacious hummingbirds buzzing by your head and feeding on the many feeders. Come visit and save some time for birdwatching.
