Dutchies View a Blue Ridge Mountains Bed and Breakfast has rounded another corner. Exactly 7 years ago to the day and date my lovely wife and I and a couple of good friends rolled up this very driveway here at the Inn in a moving van full to the top with everything we owned and some new things we had just purchased to start a new adventure in running a bed and breakfast. We have taken the Inn from something that we could work with to what we think is a little piece of heaven on earth. We have gone through many trials and tribulations and will probably go through many more, however we have not regretted what we have done for one second. It makes us humble when we have guests that thoroughly enjoy their stay and tell us just that, or leave reviews so others might experience what they have. We have met many people from all walks of life and over 15 countries (some who can and some who cannot speak English). We have been told many times we should write down some of our experiences for a future book. We have had a great time these past seven years and hope to have many more to come as we continue our adventure to see where it takes us. When we decided to purchase our B&B we were told by more than one person we were crazy and out of our minds and it would never work. Well we don't know what the future holds but seven years later we are still going strong.
